This role manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries, ensuring financial data is reliable, compliant, and audit-ready.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
> Full-time, year round based in beautiful Squamish, BC.
> 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
> $60,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
> Flexibility may be required during reporting or audit periods.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
> Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance.
> Relevant bookkeeping or accounting certifications are an asset.
> 2–5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role.
> Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or equivalent).
> Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
> Familiarity with payroll processing and statutory remittances is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
> Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and prepare payments in accordance with approval workflows.
> Issue customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances.
> Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.
> Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
> Perform bank and credit card transactions and reconciliations on a regular basis.
> Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
