ABOUT THE ROLE:
> Starting immediately in Squamish, BC.
> Office hours are typically between Monday to Friday *this is an in-person position.
> Expected to be in the range of 32 hours per week to start and then 24-32 hour per week once everything is caught up.
> Starting wage in the range of $35/hour plus three weeks paid vacation .

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
> Experience Full Cycle Bookkeeping including monthly reconciliations and reporting.
> Minimum 2+ years experience in Payroll, A/P and A/R.
> Must have working knowledge of Sage 50 and Sage Intact ideally
> Detail-oriented, fast learner, and can follow instructions accurately.
> Extremely effective problem solver who will take ownership of the finances for the organization.
> Experience in non-profit or retail accounting is a strong asset.
> Very computer savvy – experience with installation of transition of new accounting systems is very beneficial.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
> Accounts Payable: entering receipts, reconciling vendor statements, navigating GST/PST.
> Accounts Receivable: posting and sending invoices, processing payments, issuing receipts, recording sales.
> Payroll Processing: Biweekly entry of hours and balancing of payroll.
> Monthly Reconciliations and Government Submissions
> Preparing monthly reporting of budget vs actuals for leadership
> Oversee the transition from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct and the modernization of systems.
