Long enough to lay out an air mattress and sleep inside on camping trips, with enough room for a trip's worth of gear to boot. Optional roof rack can be included.
Had it for the last 70,000km, nearly all highway.
Car is 16 years old and looks it's age. Cosmetic dent in the front quarter panel, the parking brake is disconnected, and it has enough rust that your mechanic will complain about working on it. That said:
The engine is pristine and this model routinely sees the 500,000km mark. Transmission is great, as are all the electrical systems, heat/ac/windows, etc. All season tires put on 20,000km ago.
This car recently passed the out of province inspection for BC registration with flying colours, requiring new front rotors and a new windshield. The only work the mechanic has on the horizon is that it'll eventually need rear rotors. Stack of service and inspection records on request.
Currently registered in BC and in use daily.
