about the role
The shift leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring smooth and efficient shifts. This role involves delegating tasks, supporting team members, and maintaining high morale while upholding quality and customer service standards. Shift Leaders are experts in all shop roles and play a key part in creating a positive and productive team environment. Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of Alice + Brohm’s operations, values, and products are essential for success.
the day-to-day
-Manage opening procedures, including cash counting, temperature checks, and preparing the shop for daily operations.
-Oversee closing duties, such as restocking, performing cash deposits, and securing the store.
-Provide leadership on shift by maintaining high team morale and delivering excellent customer service.
-Work closely with management to ensure smooth operations and lines of communication are maintained.
-Delegate tasks, create daily to-do lists, and manage all breaks for team members
-Ensure all Alice + Brohm policies, health and safety procedures, and food safety practices are followed.
-Monitor and maintain stock levels, including classic and feature pints, and communicate inventory needs to managers and owners.
-Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health authority standards.
-Troubleshoot and maintain Little Jem blenders to ensure smooth operations.
-Understand and communicate the Alice + Brohm story, products, and values to team members and customers.
-Support the training and development of new team members in collaboration with owners and managers.
-Perform additional duties as needed to support shop operations.

Starting wage is $20+ per hour plus tips (based on experience)
