THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
The Facilities & Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of all facilities, including offices, shop areas, washrooms, common spaces, and outdoor areas. This role ensures that facilities are safe, functional, clean, and well-maintained to support daily operations and meet health and safety requirements.
> Perform minor maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, adjustments, and replacements (e.g., light bulbs, fixtures, doors, hardware).
> Assist with basic plumbing, painting, and general upkeep tasks within skill level.
> Identify maintenance issues and report items requiring specialized repair or external contractors.
> Perform daily cleaning of offices, washrooms, common areas, and shop spaces.
> Empty garbage and recycling, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness standards.
> Ensure floors, surfaces, and high-traffic areas are kept clean and safe.
> Assist with setup and teardown of workspaces, meeting rooms, or temporary installations.
> Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, yard cleanup, or basic exterior maintenance as required.
