Combustion Solutions is a manufacturer of high efficiency, low emissions combustion equipment such as boilers, heaters and burner systems for industry. We require a dedicated career minded individual to join our supply chain management team.

Job Responsibilities

Manage warehouse functions according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
Liaise with management as a representative of the warehouse team
Assist in the development and maintenance of materials group standards and procedures
Work with materials team to optimize workflows
Support logistics functions for planning and expediting of orders
Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required
Prepare transportation documents
Operating, inspect and maintain material handling equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, conveyers)
Ship and receive materials, as well as load and offload materials safely from trucks into receiving areas
Ensure shipments are complete against purchase orders and data sheets
Ensure materials are received safely and accounted for through proper delivery and storage practices
Review material test reports and maintain material identification records inventory
Inspect raw materials using inspection tools such as calipers and thickness testers
Maintain non-conforming products area and expedite resolution through the materials review board
Use ERP (computer) system to enter product receiving data
Label and bin all material accurately with a high attention to details
Operate order picker to store / retrieve shelves with materials into material bins
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area
Prepare and review TDG documents
Utilize and maintain MSDS for incoming chemicals
Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Review shop materials requisitions and pick orders into pick bins for distribution within the shop
Use materials orders to pick jobs and ship orders to customers
Process customer and supplier returns
Participate in inventory management through accurate counts and the delivery of all materials
Identify and resolve potential hazards and unsafe work conditions
Work with procurement to manage min / max bulk item inventory
Use tool tracking and management system and manage tool crib
Participate in total quality management system
Participate in safety programs
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

High school diploma or GED.
Industrial Warehouse Person Trades Certification; or, Operations Management Diploma; or, Operations Management Certificate with specialization in materials;
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
3+ years of work experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights and use fall protection
Experienced with lift trucks and overhead cranes
Good written and verbal communication / English language skills
Good math and computer skills, and familiarity with MS Windows, Word, Excel and Email
Experienced with ERP (computer) systems used to manage a warehouse
A sound understanding of warehousing operations and inventory control
Physical strength and stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift items up to 18 kilograms,
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and demonstrated problem solving skills
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
