Pay: Starting at $28/h - higher compensation based on experience
Schedule: Minimum 25 hours/week (flexible schedule). Up to 40 hours/week available with additional duties
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Safety Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning workplace safety, gaining experience in the trades, or starting a new and rewarding career path.
No prior experience as a safety coordinator is required—training will be provided. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, organized, and confident communicating with others.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and improving workplace safety practices
Conduct basic safety checks, inspections, and documentation
Support incident reporting and follow-up procedures
Help ensure compliance with site safety plan, safety policies and regulations
Communicate safety expectations clearly with team members
Maintain organized records using Excel, Word, and Outlook
Assist with conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment
Optional (for full-time hours):
Housekeeping duties
Light labour tasks to support site operations
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
CSO ticket or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills (English required)
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to follow direction and work independently
Problem-solving and conflict mitigation skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
